Mega School of Theology

To provide a structured training vehicle for the certification of new ministers in the five-fold gifts, grounded in and affirming the theology of Mega Church.

Bishop Luther J. Blackwell, Jr. founded Mega School of Theology  in 2003   The mission of the school is to provide a training ground for those called to the Five-fold Ministries.  On February 1, 2003 and February 5, 2003, the Winter 2003 Session commenced with the first two classes, entitled “Biblical Hermeneutics” and “Pastoral Leadership I”, respectively. These classes were taught by Dean Linda Holt.  Subsequently, Minister Constance Browning, and Tina Holt joined as faculty members on April 26, 2003 and the school grew in enrollment and staff.  The classes were originally held in the Mega Church meeting rooms and the Church Sanctuary. Classes moved to the Mega Church Annex on Prame Avenue in August 2004.  In February 2005, the first Spanish-language class, Hermeneutica Biblica, was offered and taught by Felix Muniz.  The Mega School of Theology Inaugural Commencement Ceremony was held on June 4, 2005 in the Mega Church sanctuary.  Seven graduates were presented.  The Commencement Speaker was Bishop Luther J.
